Ultrasonic cleaning has become standard in the industry. The cleaning is realized by means of high-frequency sound waves. One speaks of ultrasound when the sound is no longer acoustically perceptible to humans. The frequencies here are above 18 kHz.

The vibrations generated by this sound in a water-like liquid cause bubbles to form on the surface to be cleaned. The process by which mechanical sound waves create compression and decompression phases is called cavitation. During the decompression phase, many small cavities are created in the liquid, which implode during the compression phase. The resulting pressure thus removes minute particles from the hard surfaces.

Due to its properties, ultrasonic cleaning can be used for a wide range of soiling. The cleaning success is almost unsurpassed.

Reliable

Ultrasonic cleaning is one of the most reliable types of industrial cleaning. Here, the smallest particles are removed without residues that otherwise remain on the surfaces. These residues cannot be removed effectively enough by other types of cleaning, as dirt particles in the smallest openings are unreachable with other types of cleaning.

Gentle

Ultrasonic cleaning is an absolutely gentle cleaning process. Since no mechanical cleaning takes place here, no damage occurs to the product. This ensures a long shelf life of the products to be cleaned.

Individual

Ultrasonic cleaning uses transducers with individually adjustable frequencies. This allows the sizes and dimensions of the bubbles in the cleaning process to be determined. At lower frequencies, larger bubbles with a greater effect are created in the decompression phase. Increasing the frequency, on the other hand, causes an increased formation of these bubbles, which are, however, smaller and less effective. Thus, the frequency must be adjusted depending on the area of application.
