Decoating plant technology

Our decoating plants are technical prerequisites for the removal of old coating residues and are manufactured according to your requirements. The plants are made entirely of stainless steel, optionally also of chemical-resistant plastics. In the basin, you can choose temperatures - depending on the chemistry used - up to 140°C. In addition, a supporting circulation and subsequent treatment with ultrasound can take place.

Thanks to our many years of know-how in the technical implementation of decoating systems and our focus on ultrasonic cleaning technology, Rational is able to map the entire decoating process, including rinsing, ultrasonic cleaning and drying. In many cases, extraction, automation and light grids are installed as safety technology. Rational is the manufacturer of the systems and a cooperation partner of NGL, which supports us as a developer and producer of the decoating chemicals.

Decoating with caustic soda

This example system is a combination of a decoating basin and a rinsing basin. The system, including the extraction, is controlled via a timer. It is used for the decoating of large-format substrate carriers that are also coated during PVD coating.

Decoating basin

Temperature, timer, suction and overtemperature control (with alarm) can be controlled in this decoating tank. The payload is up to 50 kg. The decoating basin has an edge suction incl. connection for a customer's own suction.

Decoating with Uniceral 208

This example system is a combination of a decoating basin and a rinsing basin. The timer, extraction, temperature and circulation can be controlled in this system. The decoating basin has a rim suction including connection to a stainless steel fan and the safety sensor system. The circulation of the bath helps to improve the decoating process. The rinsing basin has a spray unit for removing loose particles and cleaning the material after decoating.

Multi-chamber decoating system with Ceraltin 211

This example system consists of a multi-chamber system with decoating, rinsing and ultrasonic cleaning. Two decoating tanks with edge suction, a rinsing tank with spray unit and an ultrasonic cleaning unit with oil separator are used for this. The system can be controlled via temperature, timer, suction, circulation, ultrasound, oil separator, lifting device.

Decoating with Excarbonite 222

This example system is a combination of a decoating basin and a rinsing basin. The timer, extraction, temperature and circulation can be controlled in this system. The decoating basin has a rim extraction system including connection to a stainless steel fan and the safety sensor system and a multi-zone heating system. The rinsing basin has a spray unit for removing loose particles and cleaning the material after decoating.

- Temperature: up to 40 °C
- Basin material: stainless steel, 3 mm, thermally insulated
- Payload: up to 200 kg

Multi-chamber decoating system with H2O2 and additives

This example plant consists of a multi-chamber system with decoating, rinsing, hot air drying and traversing unit with an automated transfer unit. The two decoating baths have an edge suction system including connection to a stainless steel fan and the safety sensor system. The circulation of the bath helps to improve the decoating process. The rinsing bath has a spray unit for removing loose particles and cleaning the substrate after decoating. The blow-off unit uses compressed air to remove additional particles and allows pre-drying. The hot air dryer dries the decoated and post-cleaned materials accordingly.

The system can be controlled via temperature, timer, extraction, circulation, converter and drying.

This example plant consists of a multi-chamber system with decoating, rinsing, hot-air drying and processing unit with an automated transfer unit. The three decoating baths have an edge extraction system incl. connection to a stainless steel fan and the safety sensor system. The circulation of the decoating baths helps to improve the decoating process. The rinsing basin has a spray unit for removing loose particles and cleaning the material after decoating. The blow-off unit for blowing off the wet materials enhances the cleaning. The ultrasonic cleaning unit is used with an oil separator. The hot air dryer pre-dries the decoated and post-cleaned materials.

The system can be controlled via temperature, timer, extraction, circulation and drying.
